About This Blog

My name is Elder Standing, and I am a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Whenever people see my name, the first thing they do is try to make a pun out of it, which I have learned to embrace. Therefore, every blog I write will be in the theme of standing, for your reading pleasure. The purpose of this blog is to share with you the things I have learned in life, so that you may learn not just what I do on a day to day basis, but why I do it, and how that applies specifically to you. At some time in our lives, we
all find ourselves up against a metaphorical brick wall. I do not intend to overcome your brick walls for you, I cannot do that. I
intend to remove a brick from your brick wall, thus providing you with
the ability to see what lies beyond the challenges you face, giving
you perspective. Then I hope that you will use that as a handhold or
foothold to climb over your personal brick wall, and move forward in
life. I will do this by sharing with you things I have learned in the
restored gospel of Jesus Christ. These things are for you. If you do
not learn something from what I share, or change because of what you
read, you have wasted your time. If there is anything that stands out
to you that you would like to discuss in greater detail, please feel
free to find me on Facebook and send me a message. And, if you like
what you see, feel free to add me to subscribe to more frequent
posting, and please voice your opinion. I would love to create
discussion.
